Position Summary:

Provide final review and posting of the inspection reports prepared by field inspectors and entered into IronPlanet inspection report system by Inspection Report Data Entry Clerks.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the accuracy of each inspection report by comparing photographs of the equipment and fluid sample results with the condition assessments recorded by the field inspector
• Verify key equipment data (serial number / VIN, hours / miles, machine-level and / or emission-related certifications, etc.) for typos and other inaccuracies
• Ensure that "wordsmithing" of comments and other text is consistent across reports
• Communicate with field inspectors as appropriate and use automated system to assist with the evaluation and final posting of reports
• Provide feedback regarding field inspector performance
• Participate as necessary in the investigation and resolution of disputes
• Achieve productivity and quality performance requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Required:

• High school diploma
• Construction equipment-related technical course(s) a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Relentless attention to detail
• Strong written communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Working knowledge of construction, agricultural, and materials handling equipment is preferred
• Experience with on-highway trucks and cranes is a plus

Physical Requirements:

• Constant use of keyboard and mouse
• No travel and no other physical demands
